  7. I have looked up several sites/programs and to be honest, a lot of them sound pretty shady. Therefore, I’m looking into reputable programs such as google adsense which uses contextual information (info from your sites content) to determine what types of ads to display.

    I have also been looking into an a company that I have purchased from before. I know that they sell quality low cost jewelry (something that I am teaching people to make) and that they receive a lot of traffic to their site. They are partnered with Linkshare (www.linkshare.com) which manages affiliate marketing programs.

    I would also like to see if a vendor I frequent has an affiliate or customer referral program. I can stand behind their products and if I get traffic to my site, it can greatly increase their sales.

  8. For now, since my site’s content is about photography, I’m planning to use Barns and noble and Adobe in my site, and also as resources for my readers.
    Both of them are free, and require to fill out the registration process. B&N requires the site to be fully completed, then be reviewed by them. If pass, then you can have it posted, and you get to earn 6% of their products.
    Adobe just requires the site to be an active one, and organization phone is required to fill out. It’s stated that you can earn up to 8%. They send you checks or direct deposit.

    You are able to customize the colors, layout,size, and position of ads but the content is determined by Google based on the content in your site.

    Payment:
    Cost-per-click (CPC) – advertisers pay either when users click on ads, or when the advertiser’s ad is shown on your site. You’ll receive a portion of the amount paid for either activity on your website.
